Healthcare advertorials in Romania for clinics, doctors and pharmacies

How to publish an advertorial for a clinic, a practice, a pharmacy or a supplement in Romania: the legal rules, what health publications accept and what it costs. On the 109 publications of the Comunicate.eu network the price is 45 lei excl. VAT (≈ €9), the same as in any other niche.

Healthcare is the niche where an advertorial faces the most rules and the most refusals. Not because publications are fussy: advertising for medical services is regulated by Romanian Law 95/2006, and for medicines by Order 1069/2007, and a publication that lets a wrong text through is liable alongside you. This page explains what you can claim, what you cannot, on which publications and at what price.

Comunicate.eu is a Romanian publishing platform operated by ARC MEDIASOFT SRL. Its catalogue lists 3,822 active publications in 22 niches, health among them; 109 belong to its own network, where every advertorial costs the same. The turnaround is written next to each publication, usually 2 working days, and the first publication is free when you create an account.

What you can say in a medical advertorial

What you do, where, with whom and how to reach you. Specialties, equipment, opening hours, prices, the doctors' qualifications, the steps of a procedure, what the patient needs to know before and after. All of it is information patients look for and the law allows, on one condition: it has to be true and verifiable. A good clinic advertorial answers the question a patient asks before booking; it does not describe the clinic.

What you cannot say

  • Promises of cure or results. "Pain-free after three sessions" passes neither the publication nor the College of Physicians.
  • Comparisons with other doctors or clinics, by name or by implication.
  • Patient testimonials used as medical argument. One person's experience is not evidence for another.
  • Prescription medicines: advertising to the public is prohibited. Food supplements can be promoted, with the mandatory mentions and without therapeutic claims.
  • Superlatives without a source: "the best clinic", "the only treatment".

On which publications

Health is one of the 22 niches in the catalogue, with Romanian publications ranging from general medical portals to sites about nutrition, sport and lifestyle, each with its domain authority, turnaround and price. For a medical service the niche publication beats the general site: the patient looking for a treatment reads there, not in a news feed. A selection is on the Health niche page; the full list is inside the platform.

How you publish

You pick the publication from the catalogue, with turnaround and price written. You upload the text; the platform runs mechanical checks before sending (title, description, headings, number of links), and the publication may reject it, with a reason, if it breaks its own rules or the ones above. Labelling the material as advertising is your obligation as the advertiser and the hosting publication’s; each publication's labelling policy is listed in the catalogue, and on the own-network publications the label is added on request. Once the article is up, you receive the verified address. The legal details, with the articles of law, are in the guide to regulated documents; the general ordering steps are on publishing an advertorial in Romania.

What it costs

On the 109 publications of our own network, 45 lei excluding VAT (≈ €9), the same price as in any other niche; partner publications carry their own price, in the catalogue. Packages bring it down to 31 lei per publication (100 credits), and credits never expire. The first publication is free. Healthcare has no special rate: more rules, same price. See the pricing page.

Create your account in two minutes and your first publication is free — no card, no sales call.

Frequently asked questions

Can a doctor publish an advertorial in their own name?

Yes, within the limits of the Code of Ethics: information, not advertising; no promises, no comparisons, no fees presented as an offer. Name, specialty, location and hours are information, not advertising.

Can I promote a food supplement?

Yes, stating that it is a supplement, not a medicine, and without claims of preventing, treating or curing a disease. The permitted nutrition claims are those in the EU register.

What happens if the text breaks the rules?

The publication can reject it before publication and tells you why; you correct it and send it again. You pay nothing for a rejected publication: the reserved credit or amount returns to your account, available for another order.

Does a medical advertorial have to be labelled differently?

No. The rule is the same as for any paid material: Romanian Law 363/2007 requires it to be recognisable as advertising. Each publication's labelling policy is listed in the catalogue, and on the own-network publications the label is added on request; how to label an advertorial explains the options. The difference is in what the text may contain, not in the label.

How much does a healthcare advertorial cost in Romania?

On the Comunicate.eu own network, 45 lei excluding VAT (≈ €9), the same as in every other niche, or 31 lei with the 100-advertorial package. Health publications from partners show their own price in the catalogue, next to each site.
