What an advertorial costs in Romania: prices and catalogue data

In October 2026, on Comunicate.eu, an advertorial costs 45 lei excluding VAT on any of the 109 publications in the own network, and every other publication in the catalogue has its own price, shown next to its name. Below: the data behind the figure and what to check before paying anywhere.

An advertorial published on a publication in the Comunicate.eu own network costs 45 lei excluding VAT, the same on any of the 109, whatever the niche or the site's authority. The catalogue also holds 3713 partner publications, each with its own price shown next to it. Elsewhere in the Romanian market the price isn't published: you ask by email and it's set case by case, usually between 50 and a few hundred lei for a niche site, more for large publications.

Figures on this page are read from the catalogue on every render. Last checked: 25 October 2026.

How long publishing takes

  • 2 working days — 3,822 publications

DA (Domain Authority) is a Moz metric on a 1–100 scale. It is not a Google metric and does not directly predict ranking; it is useful as a comparative reference between sites, and no more. Publications without data do not appear in the distribution.

Why the price varies across the market

If you have asked around for quotes, you have seen the same kind of article cost ten times more in one place than another. Four things explain almost the whole difference.

  • The site's authority

It is the factor most often cited and the easiest to sell, because it comes down to a single number. In practice a high DA guarantees neither traffic nor relevance to your subject — a general news site with DA 60 can do less for an article about roofing than a construction site with DA 30.

  • How the price is set

When the price isn't published, it is set by email, case by case, and two clients can get different quotes for exactly the same site. This is where most of the difference between two quotes comes from — not from the site, but from the negotiation.

  • What the article contains

The number of links, whether they are marked or not, whether the article stays permanently, whether it appears on the front page. Each can be priced separately, and usually is — but it shows up in the quote only after you ask.

  • The field you are in

Casino, adult, crypto and pharmaceutical content costs more everywhere, because the publication takes on a risk of its own: legal, reputational, or both. The difference is real and legitimate; what is not legitimate is finding out about it only on the invoice.

What to check before you pay

  • Whether the article will be marked as advertising. In Romania it is mandatory, and a missing mark is your problem, not just the publication's.
  • What attributes the links get. A paid link without the attributes Google requires is a risk to your site, not an advantage.
  • How long the article stays online, and whether that is written down anywhere. A “permanent” said over the phone is not a guarantee.
  • Whether you get the exact URL of the article, verifiable from a browser without an account. A screenshot is not proof.
  • Whether the price is the same for everyone or only for you. A negotiated price means someone else has their own.

If you publish regularly

The price drops with volume: from 420 lei for 10 publications, down to an effective 31 lei per publication at high volumes. Credits you buy do not expire, so you are not forced to spend them within a given month.

How we got these figures

These are all the active publications in the Comunicate.eu catalogue that have a declared public price, own-network and partner publications alike, counted at the moment the page is rendered. Domain authority is the Moz value each publication has on record; we do not compute it and we do not adjust it. The turnaround time is the one the publication declares and the one we show the client before ordering. We exclude publications without a public price, because those are not an offer. The figures about the rest of the market are ranges observed from quotes received and published by others, not measurements — and we present them as such.

Frequently asked questions about pricing

What does an advertorial cost in Romania, on average?
Across the 2,907 Romanian-language publications in the Comunicate.eu catalogue, the median SEO advertorial price in October 2026 was 195 lei excluding VAT, and half of them asked between 102 and 284 lei; the price rises mostly with site authority. Outside catalogues with published prices, most prices are negotiated by email and differ from one client to another for the same site. On the Comunicate.eu own network the price is fixed: 45 lei excluding VAT for an SEO advertorial, on any of our publications.
Why do some sites ask several hundred lei for the same thing?
For three overlapping reasons: the site's authority, client-by-client negotiation where the price is not published, and surcharges for links or placement. Only the first has anything to do with what you receive; the other two usually explain most of the difference.
Does the price include writing the article?
On Comunicate.eu, no: publishing and writing are separate, and you can bring the text already written. If you do not have it, you order writing from a person or start from a draft by the platform’s AI assistant, which you read and edit. In the market, “price including the article” is common; ask who writes the text and whether you see it before publication.
Does a more expensive advertorial produce better results?
Not automatically. What matters for the result is the fit between your subject and the publication's audience, the quality of the text, and whether the article answers a question people actually search for. A site with high authority but the wrong audience costs more and does less.
Can an advertorial be published for free?
Serious publications do not run paid material for free, because their editorial space is exactly what they sell. What does exist are trial publications: when you create a Comunicate.eu account you get one free, real publication on a publication from the catalogue.
