Free press release in Romania: your first publication

Every new Comunicate.eu account gets one free publication: your press release on one of the 109 publications in the platform's own network, with no card and no subscription.

Comunicate.eu gives every new account one free publication. It is not a discount, not a time-limited trial, and no card is asked for: you claim one credit after creating the account, spend it on one of the 109 publications in the platform's own network, and receive the address where the article appeared. After that, a press release costs 35 lei (about €7) excluding VAT. This page explains what the free publication includes, how to activate it, what gets published and what does not, and what the other free routes in the market actually give you.

What you get, exactly

  • One publication, on a site you choose from the 109 publications in the own network — news, business, travel, lifestyle, health and other niches. There is no separate list for free users: these are the same publications paying customers order from.
  • An article with its own indexable address, which stays on the publication. It does not expire and is not removed after a month.
  • The address verified after publication: we open it as an ordinary reader would and give you the link that actually answers.
  • The same checks as a paid publication: headline, description, links, images hosted on the publication.

Not included: copywriting, which is a separate order written by a person, and regulated content — casino, crypto, adult — which carries its own rates.

How to activate it, step by step

The free credit does not appear on its own. It is a step you take, and it takes a minute:

  1. Create an account with an email and a password. No card, no company details at sign-up.
  2. Confirm your email address through the link in the email we send, then open Credits and click “Claim the free package” on the first package in the list. Only then does the credit appear in your account. Until you do, it says “0 credits available”, and that is normal.
  3. Write or import the article under Articles: type it in the editor, drop in a Word document, or bring it from Google Drive.
  4. Choose the publication from the Catalogue, with price, turnaround and label written next to each, and submit.
  5. Follow it under Publications: the status, then the verified address.

What the free credit publishes

A real press release, meaning an announcement with news in it: a launch, a partnership, an investment, an appointment, a result, an event. The more concrete it is, the more easily it passes and the more people read it. The structure that works is in the writing guide, and the headline, which decides whether anyone opens it, in the press release headline.

An advertorial or an SEO article works too, if that is what you have. The credit is not tied to a single format.

What we refuse, paid or free

  • Texts without an identifiable sender, or about a company that does not exist.
  • Promises of medical or financial results, and claims that cannot be verified.
  • Content copied from other sites.
  • Personal attacks, content that infringes copyright, or material you have no right to publish.

The full rules are in the publishing rules. If a text does not pass, we tell you exactly what to change and the credit stays in your account.

Where it appears and how to choose the publication

The free credit is valid on the 109 publications in Comunicate.eu's own network. The whole catalogue is larger — 3,822 active publications across 22 niches, 2,907 of them in Romanian — and partner publications outside the own network are ordered at their own price. Next to each publication you see domain authority, turnaround, price and declared labelling. For a press release, choose by the reader you want rather than by the authority figure: news about a clinic in Brașov travels further on the local press in Brașov than on a national general site. The criteria, in the order they matter, are in how to choose the sites.

What the other free routes give

A press release can reach publications free in three ways, and it is fair to know what each gives:

  • By email, to newsrooms. Free if you do not count the time. It works for news with real weight; for the rest, replies are rare, and those that come are usually a rate card.
  • On press release aggregators. They publish anything, immediately, and give you an indexable address. Nobody reads them except robots, and their authority comes from volume rather than readers.
  • Here, with the welcome credit. A publication you choose from the own network, with real readers and the address verified at the end. Once per account; after that, 35 lei per publication.

The full comparison, with time and cost per route, is in where to publish a press release.

Free every month for NGOs and public institutions

If you represent a Romanian NGO, school, university, public hospital or city hall, there is also a free route that renews every month: the Public Interest Press Releases programme. Once the organisation is verified, you get up to 8 free placements a month, at most 2 publications per release, on 19 publications in the own network. Links are nofollow, every release is read by a person, and EU-funded project announcements and commercial content stay paid.

What comes next, if you want to continue

Nothing activates automatically and no card is stored. After the free publication you can walk away without doing anything. If you stay, a press release costs 35 lei (about €7) excluding VAT per publication, 33 lei with a package of 10 and 27 lei with a package of 50; credits do not expire. How paid publishing works is on press release distribution in Romania, all the figures are on the pricing page, and the breakdown by writing, publication and distribution in how much a press release costs.

Create your account in two minutes, activate the credit under Credits, and publish. No card, no sales call.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free, or is a card requested at the end?

It really is. There is no card field at sign-up, nor when publishing from the free credit. Payment appears only if you choose to buy a package or top up your balance.

Why does it say “0 credits” right after I create my account?

Because the free publication is activated by you: after confirming your email address, open Credits and click “Claim the free package”. We chose not to grant it automatically, so you know where it came from and what you hold.

How many press releases can I publish for free?

One, once per account: it does not renew monthly and cannot be taken twice with another email of the same company. Verified Romanian NGOs, schools, universities, public hospitals and city halls also get up to 8 free placements a month through the Public Interest Press Releases programme.

Can I use the free credit on any publication in the catalogue?

On any of the 109 publications in Comunicate.eu's own network. Partner publications in the catalogue are ordered at their own price, shown next to each one.

How fast does it go live?

The turnaround is written next to each publication before you choose, usually 2 working days. Where the site is connected to the platform, publishing is automatic once the text is approved; elsewhere the article is placed by hand.

Does the free press release look the same as a paid one?

Identical. Same publication, same position, same indexable address, same checks. There is no “free users section”.

Do I need company details to sign up?

No. The account is created with an email address and a password, and billing details — the company or organisation name and tax code — are asked for only at the first payment, if you get there. Paid orders are placed by companies and organisations, not by private individuals.

Does the free credit expire?

No. Neither it nor purchased credits. You use it when you have something to publish.

What happens if the article is rejected?

We tell you exactly what to change, and the credit stays untouched in your account. You resubmit after correcting it.

Do publications label the article as paid material?

Romanian law (Legea 363/2007) requires paid material to be recognisable as such, and the obligation sits with the advertiser and with the publication hosting it. Each publication's labelling policy is listed in the catalogue, next to the price, before you choose; on the 109 own-network publications, the label is added on request.
